A BIT ABOUT ME

A smiling woman with blonde hair wearing a light blue jacket over a white shirt, standing outdoors with a blurred brick building background.

As a Coach, my role is to help you help yourself. I am an ally and advocate, guiding weary and hurting women toward healing and growth.

What Drives My Desire

After years of living by the mantra, “Stay another day,” I’ve realized that truly thriving is much better! The journey here wasn’t easy, and though I’m not exactly thankful for the specific trials and pain, I am incredibly grateful for the gifts and lessons that have come to me along the way. ◡̈

What Makes My Brain Buzz With Happy

I love a smooth writing pen, labels, and printed copy because I need to lay everything out and have access to all of my options! When I get in research mode, I’m happiest in the middle of the mess—surrounded by my printouts, brilliant authors, my iPad, journals, inspiring quotes, the Big Lake and sunshine! I love learning about our absolutely phenomenal brains, bodies and souls and am currently obsessing about the Power Of Belief (having a positive mindset doesn’t come naturally to a trained skeptic). ◡̈

What Makes My Soul Smile

I enjoy the rhythmic and cyclical nature of life, and true to that, I can turn off the hustle and melt into my window seat, spending unhurried hours reading, writing or dreaming. Matt and I are big into games and love playing cards, board games and pickle ball with friends, or just the two of us. He’s still hoping to beat my 5 doubles rolls in a row in Backgammon—”It’s easy,” I said, “just believe.” ◡̈

What Fuels My Fire

I love making deep connections, problem-solving, and helping people ease their burdens. I want to help women reclaim their power, confront challenges, use their voices, appreciate their beauty, and rebuild trust in themselves and others.

It is beyond fulfilling to find myself here—transforming the heartache and struggle into a redemption story called Coaching! I’m humbled, grateful, and ready for you.

REDEMPTION

My story isn’t just mine; it speaks to a Love greater than any of us and any problem we encounter. It aims to reclaim the true value of women and their God-given instincts. This story exposes shame, finds forgiveness, and lives in humble confidence.

ENCOURAGED. EQUIPPED. EMPOWERED.

Core Values *

I truly believe:

…in the incredible power of self-discovery and personal growth

…that each of us possesses unique strengths, diverse experiences, and deep passions that empower us to make a meaningful impact on the world around us

…that the time spent exploring our past and pondering the present is never wasted, in fact, I believe that our trials and errors can be redeemed, and that healing will come as we share our authentic stories with others

…in a God who can handle our heartbreaks and questions, that we are not condemned, but loved, just as we are

…in beauty, transparency, acceptance, and truth

And I believe in love.

    Concierge + FD Client

  • I didn’t know what I needed until I got it. Jodie says what therapist’s can’t. She’ll advocate 100% for you and your marriage AND call out b.s. as she sees it. You will feel heard, validated and fought for…

    —A grateful client

  • PROGRESS is possible! If you do her assignments you’ll uncover the insanity of old patterns and rediscover the beautiful human you really are. Thank you Jodie!

    —eyes wide open

  • Jodie taught me that there is more to (his) story than the betrayal…and though he needs to own his adult behavior, there is a wounded boy in there that is desperate to be seen, affirmed, and told what a real man is.

WHAT IS A PARTNER COACH?

Two people holding mugs of coffee or tea on a white table near a window.

A Partner Coach is a Board Certified Professional Mental Health Coach who specializes in supporting the betrayed partner in a coupleship after the exposure of sexual addiction and/or other unwanted behavior outside of the committed relationship.

A Partner Coach provides direction for individuals navigating the complexities of relationships, particularly after experiences of betrayal or infidelity. They provide a safe and compassionate space for clients to explore their feelings, facilitate open communication, and encourage personal growth.

The IMPACT—it’s too much and too far-reaching to navigate alone or even with well-meaning advice from friends or family. Believe me, there is a sequence of steps that will be much more effective and efficient than acting on impulse and feelings—(trashing his office, dumping his clothes on the driveway, or slashing his tires…🫣…tempting? Yes. Helpful? Not so much). Sometimes a licensed professional therapist with expertise in trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, or Certified Sex Addiction distinction is necessary and appropriate as the first line of support. . .

However, sometimes, a highly trained coach who understands the realities of betrayal trauma because of her own experience is the perfect fit for this specific season in your life!

And that’s what I started this practice for…to help women in the confusing space of betrayal simplify getting quality, empathetic, and comprehensive support.

I was desperate, lonely, and searching for resources in a field of books that looked the same and had a lot of acronyms!

I will help clients put words to their feelings and needs. I’m your sounding board and advocate, provide a safe, confidential environment to discuss relationship dynamics, and encourage collaboration with other therapists and coaches on your behalf (with a signed release).

Coaches offer practical tools and strategies tailored to each client's unique situation, promoting healthier communication patterns and conflict resolution skills. Additionally, a coach empowers clients to focus on self-care, building resilience and developing a vision for the future. I help equip you with the appropriate tools to navigate the new and thrive as a woman who u nurture their relationships in a conscious and intentional manner.

There is a distinct line where coaching ends and professional therapy begins—I don’t diagnose or treat those with complex mental health disorders or active addictions, nor do I pressure clients into making decisions based on “a process.” Though themes repeat among clients and the same tools for recovery are available, each relationship dynamic is unique, so your action plan will align with your needs and desired outcome.

I do encourage my clients to build a small network of trusted people… but trust just became a very tricky word, right? Start small.

I would be honored to chat with you to see if we would be a good and appropriate fit for each other. And, whether we work together or not, I can offer referrals to local therapists and equip you with some DIY resources. I didn’t take on this Coaching role to fill up a boring schedule, feel accomplished, or pay my bills— but rather to serve and guide those brave and mighty few who feel desperate, stuck, and traumatized by the impact of betrayal. Are you ready?
